Ongoing Art History Project |
This lesson is designed to provide a rich learning experience about the history of art. Each student will choose an art movement that falls into one of the art periods. After researching characteristics, artists, and events from the period of the movement, students will create an aesthetically pleasing poster illustrating their new knowledge. Students will hang their posters in chronological order to create a timeline. Each student will present their poster in chronological order providing a deeper understanding of how art styles have evolved throughout the years.
